Is it safe, YES. Is it recommended, NO. ACL has no provisions for kids. No kids program, no kids meals, Doubtful they would even have a high chair for a 3 year old. The average age on ACL is 70+ and young kids would not fit in.

Agree with BaumD.  Safe, yes, but appropriate, no.  I was on the American Eagle last week and I'd guess the youngest people I saw were 50ish.  Nothing for kids to do.

That must have been the first (or nearly the first) cruise on a "Coastal Cat."  (Sorry txfinds007 for the off-topic question.)  This is the first post I've seen re the Eagle, and just curious if the experience was satisfactory.

There are many cruise lines that are kid friendly, and are an ideal vacation for families. It just so happens that American cruise lines is not one of those.
