Rare Lois R Posted March 18, 2006 #18 Share Posted March 18, 2006 32? LOL....not even sure I want to be 32 anymore Darcie! I went out to lunch. Had a filet at Longhorns:) it was like butta!;) Went to Khols....got 4 new bras....fun fun LOL.....by OLGA....very nice, they fit really well and best of all......they were only 14.00 each:D Then I went to Target. I had to get one of the arms on my sunglasses fixed. And the Optometrist was so nice. He put a brand new one on and didn't even charge me for it! And finally I found a beautiful new circle pendant. It is sterling silver with little cz's running inside the edge of the circle. It is about 1.5 inches in diameter...a very good size but not too much. And comes on its own chain too. Hey girls, thanks for all the good wishes. It really means alot:) Tonite Dad will give me the usual 50.00 for birthdays. Anyone have any suggestions on how to spend it? LOL LOL....... Happy ks Posted March 19, 2006 #24 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Lois, I was just last night looking at a pendant very much like you describe! I was there for a particular color necklace, though, it was tough to pass up the pendant ;) . The $50 reminds me of my husband and his brother. For years, they gave each other $50, their birthdays are only a month apart. Several years ago, DH just saved the bill and gave it back to bro the next month, so they did that for several years. Now they just give each other a card and tell each other to go get something worth $50. Your dad sounds like a real treasure!
Rare Lois R Posted March 19, 2006 #25 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Hi Kathy:) He is...he is... Oh, you know how we didn't end up meeting in October? Well, this October I will end up in California again. It will be San Diego though. Not sure if you and hubby would want to drive down or not.....but I definitely want to put the invitation out there for you:)
