Check-in times assigned

Hi all.   First MSC cruise coming up.   I notice we were assigned a 9:30am check-in time.   We don't want one that early.   Is there a way to request a change to later?

It will constantly change up until day of sailing. Show up between 11am and 1pm for best results.

Is that true for all sailings or just common on certain ships or certain locations?

 

I will be sailing on Seascape in a few weeks. Late checknin time right now of 3pm. Would love for it to change to earlier.

The cruise I booked for Dec. went from 1100/1100/1200/1600.  I plan to be there shortly after noon.  I’m diamond so time doesn’t matter.  EM

As far as I can tell, at least on US sailings, check-in times are completely meaningless. No one will check your paperwork as you enter the terminal.

On a European sailing leaving in October and so far check in times have changed 8 times but I may have missed the other 101 changes 😁

As I've mentioned on here previously, just show up when you show up. I've never had anyone ask to see your assigned check-in time and that includes MSC cruises in the U.S., Europe and Middle East. Just get there when you get there and don't be waiting around for a later time that no one cares about.

I lost count of how many emails with new check-in times. The ship was scheduled to sail 3p I had check-in times as early as 9a and as late as 2p which is past the deadline for MSC to submit the manifest for a 3p sailing.

The ship's horn sounded a little pass 4p.
