Yes, switch the #2's - even if that isn't the end sleeping/living result they want.  It is NP to swap the adults on board even if the youth is not being left on his own.

Please let us know what is going on and final solution.  I agree, hope it isn't too late, to switch Passenger 2 in one cabin with Passenger 2 (kid) in the other cabin.  Then once on board, go to Customer Service Desk and ask for duplicate entries.  Are these the same cabin categories?  Did you make them no upgrade.  Did you link them together?
