3rd person no show

Our daughter cannot come on a booked cruise with us in October, she has a new job ( on a cruise)   whats the deal with a no show and port taxes

Why no show? Why not call and cancel? I don't know of any advantage of no show over calling and cancelling. If she cancels, she will get port fees refunded. I don't know about no show. If she has Princess Vacation Protection, she will get FCC for cancellation fees.
