MSC for Me boarding pass

I sail in 30 days with MSC and just discovered that a button appeared on my MSC for Me app that says "View boarding pass". When pressed, an airline style boarding pass appears with pertinent info and a QR code. I have sailed MSC previously but have never seen this feature. Curious if anyone has any experience with using the pass?

It hasn’t happened to me,  but if it does, I will do a print screen, tuck it into my Apple wallet if possible… but I will still print one out.  EM

I'd be happy. MSC is the only line that I've needed to print boarding docs for since the restart.

I think it's new, I just got an email from MSC about doing the online check-in on the app and downloading my boarding pass; I've never received that before.

So the big question is: Are we expected to print it out, or can we just show our phone screen?

We board Meraviglia on Sunday, I will try the QR code and report back. Since it is MSC, I’ll also take a backup copy, just in case!

I saw the boarding pass too, and hopefully can use it.  The print out e-ticket also includes a health form that needs to be filled out and presented at check in, so I'll have that too.

I received my QR code today via the app. I'm not taking any chances.

Regardless of cruise line you should always have paper copies just in case.
