TRAVELBUGCRUISER Posted September 29, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2023 Hi Cruisers I originally booked a GTY balcony for Thanksgiving. I have not been assigned a cabin yet however today I was able to do a RoyalUp Bid. How long does it usually take to know one way or the other if the bid was accepted? Thank you! motheroftwocats814 Posted September 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2023 I did a royal up bid once. It was sort of last minute. Maybe about about two weeks prior to sailing. I got accepted and assigned cabin 1 day before sailing.
straychicken Posted September 29, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2023 (edited) I am on a cruise leaving this Sunday and the first mention of anyone winning a bus on our Facebook group was earlier this week on Monday. Everyday a few more people mentioned getting their bids. I am in the group still waiting. I have four in my cabin and am guessing that would be one factor to make it less likely. The Royal Up link has disappeared from my cruise planner but I can still see my bids on the email link. We won't know we have lost for sure until we are on the ship.
