Mostly. You will have to pay port fees and taxes up front (no payment plan), and will pay the daily gratuity like any other cabin. It also will not include a drink package or wifi. But no "administrative fee," no minimum spend in the casino, no hidden cost.

Worth remembering that what they do charge is per person. So if you're travelling solo, it's basically half the cost as going as a couple instead of the usual paying double for a solo supplement.

Also, if you do have to cancel your cruise, port fees and taxes are always refundable, meaning you will get 100% of your money back.

I have booked 4 cruises with the Blue Chip Club in the last three weeks. I received several snail mail post card offers. Most of the free inside cabins were gone when I called. I booked three Balcony cabins for the difference between an inside and the Balcony. If you call the Blue Chip Club they will tell you what you are rated.

Two are with the Apex and Ascent. Great value!!!

I just completed my first Celebrity cruise earlier this month and qualified for some discounted and free cruise offers. No postcards or emails received thus far, but I have received 3 offers through the BlueChipClubOffers.com site. Anyone know if it’s typical that the site provides more offers than email/postcard, or should I get a corresponding email for each offer I see on the site?

Just want to add to this. Just completed our first BCC comped room. Had the option when I called to pay gratuities up front so we did in order to not have to worry about spending on board. Roughly $600 per person between Port fees and grat for a 5 night inside room. Nothing special. Our issues arose when we boarded and they tried to charge us an additional $90 each for gratuities on a couple occasions throughout the 5 days. Was able to get them removed but had to provide reciepts. Made me feel like their BCC system doesn't register if you purchase anything else up front. On the other hand, have done Carnival comped rooms on a couple occasions and have never had any issues.

We took advantage of 3 upcoming Blue-chip club offers, but looked at account billing details and BIG RED FLAG.  We paid to upgrade to suites but Celebrity charged over $1800 just for the Cruise Care insurance (leaving less than $200 per person for "room".  I believe this is a big misrepresentation.  If we have to cancel due to a medical emergency, the cost of the policy will NOT be covered, leaving reimbursement rates less than $400 for the cruise fare.  When we were booked on a transatlantic cruise just as Covid hit, learned that if we cancelled, we would not be refunded the cost of the policy.  If Celebrity cancelled, we would (and did) get reimbursed for the policy cost.  Thoughts please?  I plan to call Celebrity tomorrow.

You should be able to call and drop Cruise Care.

I called today and there is some strange glitch in the display of payment details.  The actual cost of the Cruise Care policy is $78!  Whew, I feel better.
