3rd Party off shore excursion companies....Must do's while in Ports

Good evening to all we are going on our first VV aboard the Valiant Lady for the "Ships Ahoy" New Year's sailing leaves Miami on 12/30 and has it's port days at Puerto Plata, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Croix and the beach club at Bimini....please give us your experiences we are a group of 10 celebrating 2 milestone birthdays during this cruise!

If you are looking for third party excursions, you should look at the ports of call boards for your ports.

I've done the Bacardi Rum factory tour in San Juan and really enjoyed it.  For a group of ten it would be even more fun!!

Thank you both!! On another note are any of the following ports a port that you would suggest an excursion that is a " Must Do:?  from your experiences?.. and yes we do have a bunch of drinkers... and finally did you do tours on your own without a tour guide and were they within walking distance or a short taxi drive...thank you for your input and suggestions...
