On one (and I can never remember which way around they are) the menu is a slight step up to something worth getting dressed up for, and on the other it is 'Shepherds Pie' or something else not very special to eat whilst sat their in black tie.

jeanlyon Posted November 6, 2023 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2023 Just back from Aurora and didn't notice any difference between Celebration and Formal. Both had a slightly better menu than ordinary nights. In fact, not sure I understand the difference at all.

heatherb1958 Posted November 6, 2023 #10 Share Posted November 6, 2023 No difference at all except on the Celebration night, which is usually the first dress up night the rest of them being classed as formal , Captain will do a speech and toast with the officers with free 'champagne' being dished out to guests as much as you would like .
