looking for advice for best way to book 3 adults , 1 child and 1 infant ?

how is everyone related and where will the kids sleep? how old is the infant? what cruise are you looing into?

Were 2 parents , grandma , 2 year old and 8 month old . Sleeping does not really matter grandma is taking one were taking one. Were looking at the seascape Jan 20 ,2023 Caribbean ? our other option is seashore or Divina. I thought sea scape might have more for the 2 year old .

In these situations, it's generally easier to book directly with MSC or through a travel agent. That will ensure that your cabins are side by side.

Seashore and Seascape are basically twins. With either, there are Aurea Suites and Yacht Club Suites that sleep 5.

We are booked on the Seascape with side by side cabins. I had called MSC to help coordinate, but the agent kept telling me she couldn't find side by side cabins. I was able to find them when I made mock bookings. So, I used my iPad and the laptop to create each booking at the same time, booking our cabin using one device and our daughter and her family's cabin using another. I was able to secure the cabins we wanted without having to go through the hassle of convincing the agent that there were in fact side by side cabins available.

then you could do a cabin for 3 (parents + 1 kid) and an adjacent cabin for 2 (gma + 1 kid). Sometimes it's difficult to find a single supplement cabin on such a short notice, so I'd do 3+2.

 

That said, just in case MSC is stubborn about a child traveling with a non-parent, I'd get passports for the kid traveling with grandma AND bring a birth certificate. You never know what MSC staff is thinking.
