tednc Posted November 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2023 We're booked on QM2 westbound TA in December. Some years ago we took QE2 westbound but were able to ship an extra bag to Cunard IN NEW YORK a few weeks ahead. The baggage master just stored it onboard and it was waiting for us when we embarked in Southampton. Anybody tried that lately? Saved us from sending it internationally to UK. Poole Boy Posted November 8, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2023 Unlikely that Cunard or the authorities would allow unaccompanied luggage to sail on the ship.
Rare Colin_Cameron Posted November 8, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2023 QE2 had a Baggage Master. The current fleet do not.

Indeed, Baggage Masters & Baggage room facilities - yes those were the happy days, well before 9/11.
