schmenge Posted November 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2023 I like to reserve specialty dining on non-formal nights. Would anyone have an estimation what the formal(ish) dining nights would likely be on a 10-night itinerary?
mtnesterz Posted November 13, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2023 Two formal nights on a ten day cruise. You didn't post your itinerary, which would have really helped. The first is never the first night, but usually the first full sea day. The second will never be the last night, but usually a sea day near the end. Safe bet, pick a port day. schmenge Posted November 13, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted November 13, 2023 Thank you. Itinerary is Eastern/Southern Caribbean. Sea days are second, ninth, and tenth, so sounds like formal nights would be two of those three. Thanks again!
Rare Host CJSKIDS Posted November 13, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2023 The formal nights should be the second and ninth sea day and they won't do it on the last night.
Torfamm Posted November 14, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2023 You can see which nights are scheduled as formal nights in the Journey View activities timeline in the app. Every evening will show either “casual” or “formal” portraits. I’ve seen it populate as much as a couple of months before a cruise. They are most often on sea days and never on the first or last night.
