Since I will probably need to do my walking inside today, gonna go knock out a mile in the gym and then it should be close to lunch time.

But my frog friend is gone.

 

Laundry has also returned.

Ended up doing all my walking, and did a little time in the sweat box to shed some water weight and get a new official weigh in for the day.

 

New total is +1.6.

Protein was ham so got some turkey from the deli.

 

 

Pasta came quick. Went with Alfredo today.

These ports have held no interest for me. While they are pretty, they are manufactured for tourism with no authentic culture.

 

Some of the later ports are real places and I may venture out. 

 

San Juan is a beautiful place with an historical background but it is also the hottest place on earth I've ever been to so I probably still won't make it out.

 

St.maarten is nice. Cozumel is almost always a get off the ship day.

Checked in for dinner at 558 with under a 10 minute wait.

Table next to me had it also and raved about it, let's see.

Cucina was better, as it should be, bit these were good. Lightly battered, not too chewy. The sauce could have used a little more flavor, but it did have a nice zing to it and was not watery.

 

Solid dish.

 

Herb crusted salmon and crawfish fettuccine 652.

That salmon was another slam dunk. The fish was moist and flavorful and the skin was nice and crispy. The sauce looked unappealing but was tasty and had a delicate flavor so as not to overpower the salmon flavor. It did not need to.

 

Unless you have to have lobster, order this instead it's way way better. You're welcome. 

 

The fettuccine was also good. It had a nice hearty sauce with a great flavor and the crawfish in it was a generous portion and also better than tje lobster they serve. 

 

I would have liked it to have more Cajun seasoning to make it spicier, but I understand that is rare on a cruise catering to people with delicate taste buds.

 

Panna cotta 712.

I really just needed a glass, should have got one from a bar instead of waiting on a drink.

The panna cotta was good for the most part. It had a nice blueberry compote (there I go like blueberry again) and had a blueberry filling. Bites without this were flavorless but as long as you got some blueberry in your mouth it had a nice flavor.

 

Dinner was efficient especially for lobster night and I had another friendly waiter. The food was very good. The salmon and the pepper steak from last night are my two favorite dishes so far and as much as I want to sample a lot of the new items, I think both of those are going to be repeated next week!

Puerto Rico is nice. Just unbearably hot more often than not, even by Caribbean standards.

Got my wifi for next week purchased. In room bottles are available for sale again. Strange I did not have that option for this cruise, but it is an eight day so maybe that is the difference. Hopefully I won't need it if I can buy it from the fun shops tomorrow!
