The escargot will not be winning any awards for best escargot. They had no real flavor and were swimming in entirely too much grease. Pass.

The Jumbo shrimp were quite good. I liked the sauce better in the previous version, but this sauce was good also and better than the normal generic bland red sauce that seems to come with all their dishes on the previous menus. This also came with a nice cauliflower and mashed peas side that was very tasty and helped to make this a more filling dish than the previous offering.

The fish was again very good tonight. This was a better fish than last night and again the sauce kicked it up another notch. It was a tangy BBQ sauce which does not sound like it would be good, but they worked quite well together. I also enjoyed the bed of spinach that you can't really see hiding under the fish as well as the potatoes. Another winner from Emeril.

I wanted to brave the beef dish tonight, but I just wasn't quite ready to chance it. Filet in the MDR? That is taking a big risk, the quality is just not usually there and my filet at lunch was so good this couldn't possibly compete but I am committed to giving it a shot next week.

I was happy to see the grand mariner soufflé carry over to the new menus. Unfortunately, this was undercooked and not good. I hope my melting cake will be this uncooked but a soufflé needs to be cooked through and this was not.

Panna cotta was a delicious globe of chocolate goodness! Excellent.

A couple misses but still a good meal overall.

I am near the same seat as last night but I think I have a different waiter. Last night my waiter's personality on a scale of 1 to 10 would rate a 3. Tonight, I would give the waiter a 1 and ask for consideration for a lower score to be possible.

I am not getting the warm and fuzzies from the wait staff so far in the dining room. At least the food has been good so far.

Mobile bar has at best one drink left in it then is going to need to be refilled so I'm double fisting it right now with my drinks from earlier.

At the Red Frog for solo guitar with Alex Mel. He's around the corner, I don't need to see him.

Neither me nor Shazam know what he's singing but he sounds good.

Back in the room. Going to see if there is anything on the TV, but it will probably be a YouTube kind of evening. I'm hoping I can sleep in a little tomorrow so I can last a little later. Tomorrow is Quest and I really wanna make it to that!

Tomorrow is also Grand Turk, but I think it will be another stay on board day, I want to get some photos of the ship while everyone is out, but if I get done early enough I may venture out for a few minutes, we'll see.

Until then, thanks for following along. Good night everyone.

All caught up. Looking forward to following  you for your grand adventure. It;s funny the last time I was on a cruise I felt the same way about the wait stuff in the MDR. Just did not have the warm fuzzing feeling. That was till the last night of the cruise then they found the time to chat with us  and give us the warm fuzzing feeling.

Well got to get up and get ready for work.

Good morning from Grand Turk.

Still awake earlier than I would like but I'm awake and can't get back to sleep.

Gonna get moving and grab some breakfast but first I need to send out some laundry.

I packed light and we have another dress up night already tomorrow. Should be enough time to get it back but on the Journeys cruise it was not and I ended up having to eat in the buffet.

Shouldn't be a problem here,  but it's still cutting it closer than I would like.

Funny how that happens.

I don't even need chatty really just a smile, a Hello, or don't set my plate down and just walk off. Feels cold and impersonal. Maybe things will improve tonight

Good morning! I’m curious so I thought I would ask, was this all booked on casino offers or a mix? VIFP, IL, etc?
wishing I was in Grand Turk today.

All casino offers back from 2022 when Carnival was being very generous with their offers just to get their future booking numbers inflated for the investors.

Now they are strong on their own and my casino rates and IL rates aren't great.

It's a great day for Grand Turk! Sunny and warm without being oppressivly hot out. Great time of year for the Bahamas and more northerly Caribbean islands.

I won, but the SOAS is still in hiding. Only five people showed up, so it's not like I'm a genius just had no competition.

No coffee line. I like that it stays open in port. On Freedom it closed at like 10 and you had to use the coffee bar on Lido, which didn't have a blender so no frappes for me.
