Transfer from Miami hotel to Port Everglades

Hello.  We will be sailing on Holland America out of Ft. Lauderdale and are considering spending 2 nights pre-cruise in Miami.  We've never been to Miami.  Is there a shuttle service that can take us from our hotel to Port Everglades cruise port?  We do not like to use Uber/Lyft, etc.  Also, does HAL have a shuttle service from Port Everglades to the Miami airport?  Thank you.

Yes, HAL will do Port Everglades to MIA.

 

There aren't many, if any, shuttles that go from hotels in Miami to Port Everglades. Taxi would be your main choice.

 

Or you could do limo service, like Larry's Limo, mentioned here frequently.

From downtown Miami hotels you could also use Uber or Lyft.

 

I would also look at the Brightline train - shuttle/taxi to the train and another shuttle/taxi to the port, so probably not as convenient.

Brightline is nice, but on a weekend a waste of time and money as the drive is pretty easy. 

 

While you may not like using Uber/Lyft that is by far your best option. Go with an XL or Lux for better service car. Sometimes the prices are not bad, and for that trip worth it. An Uber XL will likely cost around the same as a taxi and be a nicer car, with usually better service. 

 

Other option is to reserve a private car like Larry Limo. They are recommended here a lot, but that will most likely be a bit more expensive than just getting a rideshare.
