Help deciding on dates

First time cruiser.  First time posting.

Decided on Italy, Greece, Turkey cruise on the Celebrity Ascent.  Choice of dates for departure are September 23 or October 14.  It’s a 12 day cruise.

Will October be too cool?

Don't know what you define as "too cool", but I don't see either date as being undesirable. The weather could definitely be changing in October, but many love to cruise the Med in October.

Yes, both times will be lovely but it somewhat depends on what you are expecting to do.  If you're planning beach time at some of your stops, go for the earlier date, October is too late for beach activities, in Italy at least.
