Insurance prices...too good to be true?

I keep seeing posts with words like " I guess"   and " I think " even "not sure "

The above is not a dig at anyone  but if in doubt then speak out  ,to your

insurer . As posted not all have same cover as other policy's  .

We had a query with ours and the company was happy to help .

So when on our last cruise, we had no nasty surprises when we needed to

talk to our insurance  and claim handler who were brilliant and once they

had our medical records  and expense bill ,we were given a settlement

which was in our bank 4 days later .

I think you meant single trip cover cannot be taken out until you are within 12 months of the cruise date.

My understanding is that if you have continuous annual cover,  then this does cover holidays booked beyond the 12 month period. But maybe @hobbsie65 could confirm if this is correct, and if this also applies if you switch insurance company, but renew the annual policy on the correct date.

My understanding with annual travel insurance is that it only covers actual holidays within that year (period of cover), but it does cover any deposits made against a future holiday for cancellation within the period of cover. Others more knowledgable that me will no doubt comment on this
