grand princess 20th December till 22nd of January

Recommended Posts

just saw this sign on the explorers bar. I couldn't imagine why anyone would book this. new year last year was so much fun with 3 main parties to join in with.

my favorite bar man just told me its for the separate section in explorers (old smoking area)

for those that like to know. our laundry took a day to come back. I think its low priority for free elite laundry. on other cruises it came back the same day.

Next day has been pretty normal for us. Last time we were in Alaska, so many elites that they advised up to 72 hours.

so glad we only booked a cheap hotel for last night as we got here around midnight. adina apartment hotel Southbank. $148 for a twin studio room. very nice and clean.

it has a nice kitchenette. looks new.

That seems like a very good price, world you recommend it?

Thank you for your detailed posts each day. I have enjoyed them in the past but as we have 2 upcoming Princess cruises, I am quite excited about the cruises. I just hope that all ships follow the same as Grand.

your welcome.

I'm the same. when I book a cruise I want to read everything about it.

we went off  the ship for a couple of hours this morning in Auckland.

humid and gloomy, becoming raining in heavy bursts.

got wet coming back to the ship.

really poor visibility.

silversea silver whisper is on the jetty next to the ferrys.

can hear fog horns now the visibility is so poor
