Dinner table

Get your reservations linked together - if you booked directy with Royal call them, if you booked with a Travel Agent then call your agent - and give them the reservation numbers of everyone you are travelling with.

If you booked all the rooms together it's possible the booking agent may have already linked the reservations.

Can you reserve a large table for Anytime Dining for just a single night?  We are a group, but not everyone knows each other, but we would like to have 1 night of a group dinner.  We won't be all at 1 table - I think we are at 28 people at the last count, but maybe in the same area?  This is our first time going with a group of people, and they are looking to us since we have cruised often, but the group dynamic is a whole other level than just planning for 2 people.

Yes, that's the way the MTD booking system is - you have to do one night at a time.

Not true, The last 5 cruises we had MTD.  Made reservations the first night for same time, same table throughout the cruises. We did advise staff when we would not be in MDR, but at a specialty restaurant.

And?  The post is for information.

And, the post is true. MTD booking system is set up to allow for booking only one night if you want to  - that is what the poster asked and what was posted.

And a poster stated you could only reserve one night at a time. Asked/answered.

No, the poster we are talking about asked, not stated: Can you reserve a large table for Anytime Dining for just a single night?

If you are going to answer another poster issue don't quote me, quote them.

Jeez: you said one had to reserve one night at a time!
Just go to MDR and make a reservation for one night or for the entire cruise.
Have a Happy New Year

You should be aware that linking reservations is not always the end. On our last family cruise on Anthem, every cabin had a different traditional dining table. (and not close to each other)

The dining room manager got us all sitting together but could not explain why the MDR didn't get the linked cabins.
