margincall Posted December 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2023 This may seem like a weird taste preference question, but here goes. We have not sailed Carnival in years, but will in 2024. We have been to many Hibachi restaurants over the years,on land, and on Norwegian cruises. In all of them, any combos that include chicken, are like a teriyaki type flavor. On Carnival menu,it says spiced grilled chicken. So,as a person, who not only loves the usual chicken he gets at hibachi, but she away from spicier foods,I wonder about the difference, or is it the same, but just called something different. Thank you
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted December 30, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2023 Wish I could help, but I’ve never had the chicken. I’ve only have the lobster or lobster/steak combo. Apologies.

Drazil65 Posted December 30, 2023 #9 Share Posted December 30, 2023 Cruised last week on MG, we ate at Teppanyaki. I had the chicken with grilled shrimp combo, the spicy part of the chicken was actually a spice put on only if you wanted spicy. I love spice and the chef added some red pepper flakes to mine as well. It was great, I was the only one that wanted the spicy part added to my dish. Knights on the Beach Posted December 30, 2023 #10 Share Posted December 30, 2023 I'm allergic to shrimp and only eat the chicken and steak and both are delicious. I hate hibachi restaurants on land because of my shellfish allergy, I almost always have a reaction. Never had a problem on either Carnival or Royal. Anyway the chicken is delicious. lol

Markmom18 Posted January 1 #12 Share Posted January 1 My husband and I had lunch here on our cruise in September. I chose the salmon (tasty) and another fish. Darn, I cannot remember the name. It was so deliciously moist, smooth and is “delicate” a proper term ?? to describe a taste? Just the best!! 😋😋😋 Bobbi

Thank you I don't like spicy chicken and love that slightly sweet teriyaki flavor of traditional hibachi chicken, so I asked for it that way on the Venezia in Sept. All 4 times (yes we ate there 4 times in 13 days) it was perfect! No idea what the spicy chicken tastes like. 20230921_200030.mp4 Tip- lunch is less expensive than dinner - same menu, same portions. Enjoy!!
