Cruisermatic Posted March 29 #27 Share Posted March 29 On full QE voyage recently - what an absolute chaotic scene every day for laundry in the laundrette rooms onboard. Did the maths and it says it all. Probably with about 1037 laundry user cabins. 5 launderette rooms ( Deck 4,5,6,7,8 ) - 3 washers - 3 dryers per room. Open from 7.30am until 9.00pm. Crazy numbers for Demand over Supply. As for the latest usage which we saw - says it all. "The designated laundry group user" One person with their friends laundry - 3 baskets (one in front of each washer/ dryer) with a load already in each one. Didn't they get a barrage form other users - they actually were seen on each deck at various times.
Rare Victoria2 Posted March 29 #28 Share Posted March 29 I tend to use the ship's laundry but I find the best time to grab a passenger machine if required is around 9.30/10am on a busy port day when moored alongside. The early birds have caught the worm and others have flown the ship. 🙂
