Anyone have experience doing that? Yes you can exchange for a different size on a ship. Beware of how they handle that like credit out the first one and charge for the new one as you'll pay the higher price. Same applies if you pick a different device. This happened to me when I changed the TIME on an excursion. Went to Shore Excursions and changed from the afternoon to the morning on the same excursion. Really ticked me off when I saw my statement later, so I'm assuming they might pull the same thing with accessories. And even though they're tax free it still comes out higher on this ship.
beshears Posted January 16 #27 Share Posted January 16 I just found out about the clip, and I was thinking of ordering the bracelet, but I'm thinking the clip might be better. If any of you have used the clip, can you give me your pros/cons on this?
Maggiebobo Posted January 16 #28 Share Posted January 16 We've used these medallion holders on our cruises, they worked great! They slide onto your watch bands. We'll use them again when were on the Sun Princess in September 😀 This is the link to the amazon page with the medallion holder.

Easy to clip onto any shirt, inside a pocket or inside whatever bag/backpack we take off the ship. Also easy to remove from your shirt to swipe as you are departing/returning to the ship.

Thanks for the idea. I just ordered as we always have our watches with us.

I travel with my newbie (older) sister. We tried the lanyard way. It was just one more item to check off as we left the cabin. You know the routine: phone, hearing aids, mask, glasses, medallion, etc. She always wore her watch. Made getting on and off the ship a breeze! No more digging through her backpack for the lanyard. I have a few more gizmos that have clips on one end for the medallion/holder and something on the other end that attaches to your garment. But the watch attachment simplified the process. Mahalo to @Elua for sharing this idea with me.

It's easy to clip on a shirt, or stick in your pocket, and pull off for scanning. My medallion for upcoming cruise is already in the clip!
Labycryz Posted September 16 #33 Share Posted September 16 (edited) I had a bit of an issue with the necklace too. It looks nice and is great for formal nights, but when I needed to scan it for getting on and off the ship, it was a hassle. Leaning in to get it scanned felt awkward, and the chain was a bit short for my liking. I ended up switching to a bracelet, which worked much better for me. That said, if you want to keep things a bit more meaningful or unique, there are places like https://www.asheswithart.co.uk that offer custom jewelry options, which might be worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different.
