Firstin87 Posted January 15 #4 Share Posted January 15 There's not even an acknowledgement between brands. We've done over 15 NCL cruises, just made Diamond, but on our first Oceania cruise last March (of 2023), we were treated like newbies. I was disappointed that there is no acknowledgement that you' re 'still in the family' and got no benefits or perks of any kind

We booked our first Oceania for this summer and nothing. No discounts for CAS and not even the OBC that I get on NCL for the casino status. Not complaining, but it does seem that there should be more of a connection between the lines “in the family” than there is.

What level on Oceania would you compare to Diamond on NCL?
Firstin87 Posted January 15 #8 Share Posted January 15 I, and it sounds like Russiamomm also, was not suggesting a straight A=B transfer, just some sort of acknowledgement that we have cruised several times on NCL. A small OBC, bottle of wine, something small to show they know that while we are new to Oceania, they appreciate that we have sailed 'in their family' many times before. Rare schmoopie17 Posted January 15 #9 Share Posted January 15 (edited) I never heard of NCL formally matching anyone, but there a lot of singles cruisers, so the possibility exists to meet someone on your own. (Maybe I should have used the sarcasm font)... Edited January 15 by schmoopie17

Oceania club members themselves don't get an OBC or bottle of wine until they've cruised 8 weeks with the line. It's just a completely different animal.
