No pager needed for dinner tonight but it did take a minute to find me a table and the line formed behind me. They will probably be getting pagers.

I didn't have my salad today so I was going to get one at dinner but ceaser salad is too calorie heavy and the other option had blue cheese. So I just skipped starters.

 

I was asked if he could bring both entrées and I said yes but he didn't, so I am still unsure if there is a policy of one at a time or not.

 

The duck was AMAZING. Very nice flavor and delicious sides with a sauce that enhanced the flavor greatly. Very happy this dish was as good as I remember.

That was another winner. Very nice flavor, a little bit of Cajun seasoning I wasn't expecting but I enjoyed it. I would have liked a bigger portion but it was very tasty.

I'm on a mint ice cream kick lately and that was very good.

 

The cake was Devine. So fudgey with a nice smattering of Carmel. So good. The piece was small, but honestly I've left quite full and satisfied.

 

Dinner was a home run tonight for sure.

 

Service was quick too! As a solo dinner I always appreciate when they can get me in amd out quickly. Great experience tonight.

People watching is great on a Carnival cruise in the night club watching a twenty something get down to whatever Cardi B is rapping about. 

 

But it's even better watching a 50 or 60 something enjoying the music of their own youth. Abba party is another favorite of mine and is a great chance to see an older crowd but young at heart letting loose. 

 

Back in the room, got the TV on but don't think I will last long before I turn in for the evening.

 

Next up, one of my favorites even after many visits, Cozumel.

we are not 50 yet, but I do love Abba songs. I will be turning on the modern channel, but I hope they do play some Abba on it. 🙂 

I can't dance after cruise dinners, though. All I can do is watch a show.

Good morning everyone. 

 

I slept much better last night. The ac works great and turns the room into a wonderful ice box for a great night's sleep.

 

They have also put a mattress topper on (automatically) likely due to the firmness of the bed but it has the added benefit of keeping the two twins together if I lay in the middle. It's wonderful.

Yes and it was very tasty. Glad to see their ice cream is still really really good.

 

Every celebrity cruise I've taken has had an Abba party, sometimes in the Sky lounge and sometimes in the Grand Foyer. I don't dance either unless I've had way too much to drink which thankfully hasn't occurred by 10pm when these events are held. But they are a lot of fun to watch amd sing along to even without dancing along.

Was going to skip breakfast and just grab lunch, but they don't open until noon so gonna run grab a light breakfast before they close at 11.

 

Crew drills just wrapped up, not one single announcement from it made it into my room.

They had fried bread today!! Remembering that @exlondoner recommended it as part of a healthy diet I grabbed a piece.  

 

Raspberry Danish yesterday was so good I got it again although today it was on the gluten free section so not sure it will be as good.

I haven't docked downtown since 2014, I think for my walk today I'll see if I can get down there. It's cool enough out I think it's doable, we will see I may find myself wondering another direction, whatever way the wind blows me, and it is blowing this morning.

 

Mobile bar converted into a water bottle and I'm off to explore.

Goodness, that sounds a bit daring. Did I advance an argument or was it simply that all food is good in moderation, which is undoubtedly true? What is the droopy green stuff?
