Sky Princess August

Hi all,

 

Me and my wife have never done a Princess cruise before but are looking at booking a 14 day Mediterranean Adventure cruise from Southampton going in August 2025. The reason for going in school holidays is that we would be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary during this time. I am just a little concerned as to what the age ranges are likely to be at this time of year (we will be in our late 40's), how many children are likely to be on board and how busy it is likely to be. There are 7 sea days during the 14 day cruise so obviously a lot of time would be spent on board. 

 

Any advice/info from people who have done a cruise with Princess at this time of year would be much appreciated.

Just my opinion...I don't think that you will see a huge number of kids due primarily to the length of cruise.  If it was a 7 day cruise I think it would be very different.

@Rick&Jeannie  This is a really good point regarding the length of the cruise. Personally, we would not do this itinerary in August... way too hot!!! I understand that this an anniversary celebration, but no way for us.

We cruised the Mediterranean in October 2018, and was even quite warm.

 

We loved the Sky when we sailed on her last June.
