Cancel and rebook with Future Cruise Credit

We are wanting to upgrade our cabin and our TA is saying we will need to cancel and rebook. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive a refund for our FCC? We want to reuse them when we rebook so we will get the OBC. TIA

It should happen immediately. When you cancel the FCDs are returned to Princess accounts. Assumes the deposit us refundable. The T.A. will handle.

Instantly. Your TA should know this.

To be precise, it takes several minutes. I tried to re book immediately & it wasn't there yet.

Reusing a FCD is no problem. The FCD is available almost immediately to reuse.

 

You do have the following possible problems though:

• EZAir: If you have flights booked, they could be cancelled. Flights may be sold out or the price may have gone up.
• Excursions: Prebooked excursions may be cancelled. They may be sold out or the price may have gone up.

I just did this yesterday to take advantage of a lower fare' the credit was added back to our account immediately, even though the person on the phone said it could take 10-15 business days. Our cabin was also added back into the inventory before the phone call was over and we were able to keep our same room and use the FCD.
