I just found out that msc web allow you to check your upgrade eligibility

We have this on the Belgian site as well, but this page is really all you get. Ours also includes a link that claims to take you to the form, but this just redirects to the same page.

It tells me that I’m not eligible.  Not surprised at that - it doesn’t apply to us in Ireland. Another MSC inconsistency;   other cruise lines offer the facility regardless of where you live.

From MSC's perspective, I'm sure this button was "free", as in: the vendor already supported lookups for this and MSC simply needed a way to jump directly to it / add a form from their UI that found the correct URL to jump to on the vendor side.

 

But I would really like to see some web-based tools to change your stateroom within your current category and change your booking category. These tools are already available for travel agents, seems like it would be trivial to add these for end users.
