Looking for a decent (In a good area) hotel near the airport, within walking distance to restaurants/bars. Would be a bonus if it has free breakfast. I have looked Marriotts but the reviews are not good at all. Would like personal, recent experience from someone.

Try looking for hotels in the Blue. Lagoon area of Miami near Miami International Airport. Prices are more affordable and reasonable there. There are also places nearby for last minute essentials along with some decent food establishments. A short twenty minute Uber ride over to the Port of Miami.

Hampton Blue Lagoon is where we booked for this month (Feb) and May for our pre-cruises.

we liked it last year and I booked it for this November as well.
