I don’t think anyone cruises out of mobile.

Ship has to be outside of Mobile Bay. If you look at a map, it has to go past the narrow inlet between Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines enter the Gulf. If the ship leaves port at 4:00 PM, it is usually around 7:00 PM when the casino opens.

The casino opens about 2-3 hours after sail away.

I'm literally sitting in my cabin in Mobile lol.  Based on the traffic getting here this morning, EVERYONE cruises out of Mobile!  (Mardi gras traffic didn't help)

We loved our Spirit cruise out of Mobile last year! Didn't pay attention to the casino, I'm sorry. Just wanted to say, enjoy your cruise!
