We are also cruising to Alaska this year...on the Edge.  Our cruise is early June.  Still doing my research on attire but I think the rule of thumb is to wear layers.

 

BTW...did you mean to post this in your roll call or the main Celebrity forum?  You may have better luck chatting with cruisers on this specific sailing by checking out the roll call.

I also think this post should be in the Cruise Critic Alaska Forum.

 

But a quick comment from someone who lives in Alaska -- layers are the key.  The outer layer needs to be waterproof -- not water resistant.  For our OP, in September southeast Alaska can be quite rainy.  Historically, May in SE Alaska is one of the drier months.

We will be joining you. Have been to Alaska multiple times, but these dates are a lot different. We always bring layers, but we have been very lucky and had sunshine each time in the past…..crossing our fingers….
