Dinner Reservations, Adults Only Space, Boarding Times

This is our second cruise on Princess and cruising on the Caribbean Princess on April 7th.  We sailed on the Caribbean Princess last time but it was nearly 10 years ago so obviously things have changed!  We have sailed on all of the popular cruise lines, some more than others so they are hard to keep them all straight!

We have tried to make dinner reservations.  We were able to book reservations in the MDR (although later than we would prefer) and the Crown Grill but unable to book at Sabatini's.  The Crown Grill has openings every night but Sabatini's does not-maybe a glitch? Just curious if they hold reservations for when you board or are we out of luck?  As well, what are the chances of changing MDR reservations, we prefer a private table so we reserved it but also don't mind grabbing a pager and a drink while we wait.

I have read that there is an adult area called the Sanctuary-is this even offered on this ship and if so can you pre-book?

We checked in today, when do they assign a boarding time?

Appreciate all the knowledge on these boards, thanks!

There's no assigned boarding times.

Can't pre-book Sanctuary - run as fast as you can there to secure spots.

Call the dining line when you board or go to the dining reservations area to inquire about a table for two and specialty dining.

There are no assigned boarding times

Boarding Window is on your travel summary and on the app, about 2 weeks prior to embarkation.

Sanctuary is on every ship. $20/40 half or full day, pp for a lounger. Only reservable aboard as you pick your lounger.  Half day is 8-12:30 or 1-5, full day, 8-5.

Yes, you can change MDR reservations aboard or cancel them all and just walk up when you want and maybe have a short wait or maybe not, like land restaurants.

Yes, there's some reservation slots held for onboard reservations. Go immediately or call once aboard and make them.

Enjoy!

We have never had a problem getting into specialty restaurants on board. If we don’t like the MDR menu we have always been able to book for after 7:30 time slots
