As to shuttles, an easy option is Uber / Lyft, which are plentiful around MCO for that port.

We stayed at the Hyatt. It’s right at the Orlando airport just upstairs from baggage claim. The next day we took CORTRANS shuttle to the ship.

Goport will sell you transportation with or without rooms at the various airport hotels.  Has worked well for us multiple times.  Usually we stay at Hampton or Embassy.
