14 night cruise and meals

In 2019 we went on a 2 week Princess Emerald Mediterranean cruise. It was wonderful, except the MDR dinner menu was the exact same for both weeks. Is this always the case? We have booked a Baltic 2 week cruise for 2025, so I was just wondering.

In my experience, if a 14 night booking can also be booked as two 7 nights (as in back to back), then the menu does repeat because it's the 7 night menu. When we have had sailings longer than 7 nights that are NOT back to back sailings, then there is a different menu each night. Our longest sailing that was not back to back was 16 nights (in 2022) and I think there may have been some repeat dishes or menus, but it was not the same after 7 nights. Even if the same, there is usually enough variety that it's not an issue. Things may have changed, but this is just my experience.

I agree with  @VaCruzers If it’s can be sold as a 7 night cruise, even though you bought it as a 14 night, you will see it repeated every 7.  They may change up a meal or two.

 

We do a lot of long cruises and find those repeat about every 14 days.  They do change some entrees, but basically the same. I always ask our head waiter when we first go to the MDR.  It’s easier to plan if you know.

Although we find many cruses to repeat menu's, there's always an item or two that I get to sample. 

No complaints from us.

If there are 2 mains I like I will order one on each week. If it is a menu I hate just head to Vines for charcuterie
