Norwegian politicians are --ahem-- discussing what ships will be allowed into what fjords and as of when.  Current indications are that from 2025 not even LNG-fueled cruise ships will be allowed into the "world heritage" fjords.   😢

we are booked on this for 2024 in July. We'd like to do an excursion into the fijords. What is the best way to do this. All the RIB boat ones that Oceana offered were filled, and I looked into an Independent one and it started 2 hours or more from the port, and we were advised to cancel. Any suggestions -it doesn't have to be a RIB tour.

Can anyone suggest a good tour in Maloy? We'd like to do a RIB boat tour, but the OCeania ones are sold out. Any alternatives. Must make sure we get ack to the ship in time.

I’m not familiar with a RIB boat. What is that?
