Internet and soda package prices for teens

Recommended Posts

Hi….hopesomeone can answer.  My son and family are planning to book an NCL cruise ….and are trying to decide

between a suite for 4 people…. Or 2 balcony cabins with 2 in each.  If they take the 2 cabins, then the teenage girls will have the internet and soda package…. And also dining perks.  But they wanted to compare that price to the suite…. And then buy

the girls each a sofa package and internet

thanks if anyone knows…

As someone who travels with 5 kids, 2 cabins always beats a suite by a lot of $.

Actually hoping to get prices for the soda packages and internet.

the suite is almost $2000 cheaper than 2 balconies.  Trying to make

s real comparison.

The prices have noting to do with the ages.  The soda pass is $9.95 per day plus a 20% auto-gratuity (per persom).  I would HIGHLY suggest NOT getting them internet.  They will be on an amazing cruise vacation, they can inplug and discover tha tthere is a real world out there to enjoy without having their faces stuck in a computer for a week.

just so you know... the oddly named club balcony "suite" isn't really a suite.  it's an ever so slightly larger room than a standard balcony room, with (typically) a much larger bathroom... except on the prima class ships, on which the standard balcony bathrooms seem to be about the same size as the club balcony bathrooms. on many ships, you can get club balcony rooms with a connecting door.

When our 19 year old agrees to go with us, we usually go with two cabins.  It works out well for us.  We are all more comfortable than being in a single cabin.  After trying this once, we won't go back to sharing with him!

We have a 7-day Caribbean cruise booked.  For your reference, our options for internet are $209.93 for unlimited internet (1 device) and $279.93 for unlimited premium (1 device).  There are also options for 2 devices that are less than buying two individual plans.  If you book two cabins so they get internet, it's minutes, not unlimited.  The cost to upgrade from minutes to unlimited is less than buying the 1 device packages for passengers 3 and 4. I hope that makes sense.

The soda package for 7 days is listed as $83.58 per person ($9.95 plus 20% for 7 days).

As mentioned, these are all for our 7-day cruise.  The prices for our 11-day itinerary are higher.

This was exactly what I needed..    I expect they will go with 2 cabins…. Thank you so much

Yes, really the only difference between a balcony and club balcony suite is a tiny bit more room (sometimes just bathroom) and perks like a free $30 laundry bag, some snacks left in a the cabin a few times, and being able to book dining and shows a few days early. Four adults would be TIGHT (on our last cruise my 14, 14, 16 and 19 year olds shared and it was a bit like camping). Areal suite would be much larger but considerably more expensive.
