j3000 Posted March 22 #1 Share Posted March 22 (edited) while I'm on the subject...does anyone see any kind of a decent last-min. rate or whatever, or suggestions where to look, for a decent hotel on Ft. Lauderdale Beach for 2 nights April 5 & 6??🤷♂️ (ps this is the Tortuga Music Festival weekend) Edited March 22 by jargey3000
FOPMan Posted March 22 #2 Share Posted March 22 Lago Mar. Though if it's Torguga weekend, I'd consider Margaritaville in Hollywood or the Pelican and stay away from anything between the 17th Street Bridge and Sunrise on A1A unless you want a crowd. (I used to be a local. living in Rio Vista). I literally grew up at Lago Mar and biked the beach many weekends from 1980 through 1987.

DaveOKC Posted March 22 #7 Share Posted March 22 We are staying at Hyatt House Dania Beach on April 5 for one night, using Hyatt points. Rate is 15,000 points, not too bad IMO.

Many offer shuttles from the airport and some (I know it has been mentioned here that the Hampton Inn - at least pre-Covid - is one of them) offer shuttles to the port. Demand will not be as great as that for beach, port and downtown Fort Lauderdale hotels on those days (although booking this late might be more problematic). Ilovesailaway Posted March 28 #14 Share Posted March 28 OP use google maps. Pick an adress on the beach in an area your interested in. Click nearby hotels. Put in your date(s) and you will see prices and availablity.
