cassandra44 Posted March 24 #1 Share Posted March 24 Need advice re the Apex Sky suite. We have a hold on deck 10 forward… is that a good choice for my hubby who uses a rollator? Seems close to Luminae etc but for a better view we would love the cabins at the very back of the ship…but it does seem a long walk to all the Retreat parts of the ship. Any reason not to go ahead with the deck 10;forward option….its a transatlantic cruise in Oct-early Nov.
Rare mac_tlc Posted March 24 #2 Share Posted March 24 (edited) My wife uses a wheelchair from time to time and we always try to get room 10123 on any E-class. We have had it on all of the E-class ships. Fabulous and convenient location. Very quiet because it is directly behind elevators and gets little foot traffic. I don’t think we could ever do an aft Sky Suite. Keep the deck 10 forward cabin. mac_tlc Edited March 24 by mac_tlc
jelayne Posted March 24 #3 Share Posted March 24 I"m guessing there were no accessible suites available. Have you sailed in a Eclass Sky suite? There is a step up into the bathroom and to get in the tub shower there is a 12-14" side that you must step over. As far as location, forward puts you much closer to the Retreat Lounge and Retreat Sun Deck as well as Luminae. 1
