Accessing OBC

So I booked a cruise with a TA that gave OBC.  Is there a way to use that to purchase the available packages ahead of time directly through Carnival, or does it not show up until you are on board?

It will show up when you get to payment when ordering.

Every time I've gotten OBC from a TA it doesn't show until I'm on board. Only obc from carnival is available before boarding generally.

I decided to call the TA and they told me that it usually shows up about a week from sailing.  So have to front the money for some stuff we wanted to order right now.   We will spend much more than we got onboard anyway so I guess it is not a big deal.

I used a TA for my parents booking as the rate was cheaper than direct, they said the OBC likely would not appear until 2nd day onboard.

most of all TA obc is consider a "gift" like cruise cash which means you don't see it until either you get onboard or a few days prior to sail date

In our experience, it will be available on board, but able to use for pre-sailing purchases.
