Casino open while at Ocean Cay?

Hello.  Anyone know if the casino is open while docked at Ocean Cay.  I'm going to be there three days on my cruise, including an overnight.  Also, are you allowed to carry drinks (alcoholic) off the ship there?

Just looked at the Daily Program from my 1.5 day/overnight visit to Ocean Cay last September. The casino opened at 1PM and the hours simply indicated "Open Late". However, elsewhere in the program it indicated "Slots Open All Night Long". So perhaps the table games ended at some point during the night but the slots stayed open.

Not sure about carrying drinks off the ship...any drink package you have on board also works on the island.

I don't think the casino drink package will work on island.  which is ok, I have $400 OBC that I have to spend anyway, so I can just charge drinks while I'm on the island.  But it would be nice to walk off with a couple of starters 🙂

The casino is open and your drink package totally works on Ocean Cay. Ocean Cay is amazing, I think you will have a great time! The overnights are really fun because they do nighttime activities on the overnights.

You might be right about the “casino drink package”…I haven’t sailed with just that..I assume that is drinks at the casino bar for gamblers..I had a certificate for a free inside after some recent gambling…I might have taken them up on it if it was YC.

All the normal drink packages work on the island the same as on the ship.

yeah, I'm a NCL transplant.  I have this free OV for a 10 day cruise, and since I don't even have to pay taxes and port fees, I figured why not.  things are changing for the worse over at NCL, so I'm giving other lines a look see

I have really become a fan of MSC. I will say coming from other cruise lines the service takes a little getting used to, you just have to be bold and ask for what you want. The servers do not "check" on you. However, other than that I think they are a great line! The ships are clean, the shows are awesome, the food is good, and the prices are amazing!

I'm looking forward to it.  The only thing that I probably won't get used to is the assigned/set dining.  That, and no cigar lounge.  But neither of those will ruin my vacation
