Tim, please refresh my memory and let me know your itinerary.

We just missed seeing Heike by one day. We sailed with her a few times on Azamara.

Can you please find out what her schedule is for next year. I assume she will be going to Explora  2.

Hoping for warmer weather and smooth seas for you to enjoy.

When I am out of quarantine, I will ask her.

Heike has very kindly offered us the adjoining  suite, which has an interconnecting balcony door, so Rosy can keep her distance.

SWEET THAT'S GREAT

I reported sick and they tested me. It was quite shock, as I only recently had a booster.

We were told the current boosters (which we had last Autumn) took 4-6 weeks to take full effect.  We were concerned on our November cruise as a result

Hope you are not getting too bored and are feeling better soon

It is very tedious, but the crew have been magnificent and very kind. The nurse visited and did my obs and the doctor brought some more paracetamol.

Last night, we had room service from Sakura. It was excellent, but of course it all comes at once and then some things go cold.

Today, Rosy met a poor soul who had broken her arm and was having to leave the cruise and fly back to Houston for hospital treatment.

Hope you are feeling better. So very nice you have access to the adjoining suite.

Feeling much better today, thanks and I’ve even ordered two drinks, pretending that I have company.

Glad that you'll be released soon. Was there anything on the in-suite menu that you would recommend?

I like the sandwiches, but most of the time dinner has come from one of the speciality restaurants. to be honest, that menu gets a bit boring after five days.

Tim, I had to do a 5 day quarantine last October (on Seabourn), and one part that I found difficult in my weakened state was getting food trays from the stool outside my door (where they would leave it) into the cabin, and then back out again wrapped in a bio-hazard bag.  Does Explora handle it similarly, with a stool in the hallway to move things in and out from your cabin?

Where is your location now?

How much longer in isolation?

Hows the weather are you able to enjoy your balcony?

We are currently in Puerto Vallarta.

Nurse just told me I should escape tomorrow.

The weather is fabulous and the last two days have been fine for sitting out on the balcony at all times of the day.

No, all crewmembers enter the room in the normal way, but with mask. They usually clean the room with me on the balcony and it’s now warm enough at night for my wife and I to eat outside. Then she goes one way and I go the other!

Today is Window Cleaning day, so I’ve recently discovered, but fortunately my balcony doesn’t extend as far as some and I stayed reasonably dry!

Photo one is of my main breakfast dish and photo two is last night’s sunset.

it is a magnificent day today’s view is much better

Apologies for the poor quality picture and the fact that my toes are on the bottom, but I find it very difficult to take photos with my iPad, as my hands shake!
