Brilliance OTS Sports Bar?

Hi,

 

Looking at the deck plans for Brilliance OTS, there doesn't appear to be a Play Makers.  Therefore, where on that ship is the best place to watch Monday/Thursday night football?

Thursday night football you are probably out of luck, unless you stream it yourself on a device, since it is on Amazon prime. Monday night could be on in cabin if it has ESPN, and some chance that a bar or 2 onboard are playing it, they had Sunday/Monday night football on the big screen by the pools on Voyager in December. I'll be on Brilliance next month and should be able to get some idea of the sports setup with whether they have the Stanley Cup playoffs on anywhere.

Bummer.  You can probably tell from my handle that I'm a Ravens fan and they are playing on Thursday night football the week of our cruise.  I'll have to make sure I can get Amazon Prime on my phone.

If it is opening night, you might actually be in luck because that is the one Thursday game that is on NBC instead of Amazon. If it's in November against the Bungles then it is on Amazon.

That's on NBC in the States.  I'd be willing to bet that ESPN-Caribbean shows that game.  My cruise is the first week of November and the Ravens are playing the Bengals on TNF that week.

There is a pub with a type of sport's theme between the movie cinema theater and the casino on deck six.  You may find what you want there.

Streaming and watch on the balcony and annoy everyone.

 

It's what we have done for years.

 

But probably that game will be televised as it will be Ravens vs Taylor Swift (oops chiefs) and the network will use the ratings draw of Taylor (chiefs).

I sailed last year during NFL season and RCL had the TNF game onboard despite it being on Amazon Prime.

Yes, it is called the Pit Stop, and it is the sports bar on Radiance class.  Even though I love the Radiance class, this is a weak attempt at a sports bar.  I’d check the Schooner Bar, as there’s often sports on the tv’s there.

I was on a handful of cruises last Fall. Every Thursday night game was shown in Playmaker’s. I won’t sail on a ship without Playmaker’s during football season.

No where near an "arm chair quarterback" myself....and have never spent time in that pub on any of the four Radiance ladies.  Was just trying to suggest a venue to the OP.  

 

And yes, on Jewel it's called "The Pit Stop".   On Serenade (back on board again in July) it's called the "Crown and Castle" pub.  On Radiance it's called the "Quill and Compass".  Can't remember what it is called on Brilliance, of which the OP will be boarding.

I haven’t been on Radiance proper in many years.  I did like the Serenade switch to Crown and Castle!  I hope they redo the Pit Stop.  It has weak draw, to the point that when I’ve been onboard it rarely seems open.  I have to update as to which Radiance class ships have updated.

I agree!  Crown is nice, and it was an upgrade I loved!👍😀
