crawford Posted May 18 #1 Share Posted May 18 Has Churchill’s closed on the Caribbean Princess? If so, what has replaced it (if anything)? If open, is it smoking or non-smoking? We were on the ship 2 years ago and it was non-smoking. Thanks
Rare flying boat Posted May 18 #2 Share Posted May 18 In January it was still a bar and smoking, but that may no longer be true since they have been changing them into arcades.
Rare annmarz Posted May 19 #3 Share Posted May 19 We were on the CP a couple weeks ago. Churchill's was still there and open. It was for smoking altho' we never saw anyone in there.

The bartenders were awesome, too! Edited May 19 by crawford

IMO, Princess should eliminate smoking in the casino and make Churchills the smoking lounge.

Everytime the door opens tons of smoke pour out right into the slot machines next to it

Just really liked the non-smoking Churchill’s for a drink and some conversation with the bartenders and other guests. I can’t think of another venue on the CB that would be a good substitute. Perfect spot right outside the theatre.

But that will never happen as the corporate folks are too scared of alienating a few smokers who like to gamble.
Rare annmarz Posted May 21 #11 Share Posted May 21 Smoking gamblers can utilize the bar in the casino. Churchill's is a lovely venue that we would have enjoyed had it been non-smoking.
arizonaperson Posted May 21 #12 Share Posted May 21 @annmarz Since you were on the Caribbean Princess recently-do you know of what venues were having lunch under the casual dining program( Premier or Plus)? Any pop ups at lunch?
