Rare Hlitner Posted May 23 #3 Share Posted May 23 Hmmm, So you are paying how much a day to be in Japan? And you want to spend some of that time sitting around a laundromat? ROFL. My advice is to send out your laundry on your cruise ship and enjoy your holiday. Hank
Reisdawg Posted May 23 #4 Share Posted May 23 We paid for the 3 bags of laundry on board. Admittedly we are in Tokyo for two weeks prior to the cruise so I did book a hotel near the port that has a washer/dryer in the room before our cruise but I am trying to pack less clothes so I can get even more in our luggage back…

If google for laundromat don't go to Kotobukicho area (behind Yokohama Stadium), you do find corner laundry but also soup kitchen, homeless and welfare shelters. As we are spending 12 n on a ship around Japan and then another 8 days on land. I can afford to spend a few minutes in a laundromat.
