I do the same, and then report the calls as spam. (We use nomorobo provided by Spectrum to report spam calls.

The position of CVP will continue to exist, the question is if they will be filled by contractors (ONE) or Princess employees. It does seem that long term CVPs still remain, though I have encountered  some ONE employees now referred to as CVPs.
