McKinley Explorer - Under Seat storage question

We will be on the McKinley Explorer following a cruise portion - Whittier to Denali - I use a laptop bag as a personal item on flights, which fits under airline seats, will this fit under the train seat? Any assistance will be appreciated! We are trying to be prepared!

The seats on the train have a lot of leg room.  Under the seat, I’m not sure.   There is plenty of room for a backpack in your seating area.

No storage space under the seats on the train

My experience aligns with @Copper10-8 - there was no storage under the seat in front of us.
