Taxi for six people from Port Everglades to Fort Lauderdale airport.

Anyone with experience doing this… taxi or Uber to hold all of us or will I have to hire a private shuttle?  Thanks for any information.

They have taxi vans and SUVs, but if you add in luggage, that isn't going to work.

Thanks, of course we’ll have luggage. We’re getting off the ship. I’ll have to consider something else for transportation.

Uber and Taxis can't for that many people. For larger groups we use Jiffy Jeff Transportation.

Yes, I already have Jiffy Jeff reserved to take us from the hotel to the ship. Looks like we may have to use him for the trip back as well.

Or two Uber XLs which is what we did last summer with a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) from the airport to the hotel to the ship and back to the airport.  Most likely Uber will be much cheaper than shuttles which charge by the passenger not the vehicle.

Thanks. How much would 2 Ubers be and did you have to wait long for them?

With tip, the per Uber prices were $20 airport to Embassy Suites, $17 Embassy Suites to Terminal 2, $24 Terminal 2 to the airport IIRC.  Never had to wait more than 5 minutes on a Friday morning to the hotel, and on Saturday mornings to the ship and the airport.
