This is pretty much old news and in my opinion removing Harmony is wonderful that is a fairly boring menu in my opinion

And I may have come to the same conclusion.

However, it would have been nice to try it for ourselves.

It would be nice if each of the Royal class ships have something different to offer.

However, each of the them seems to be a carbon copy of the one before and the only difference is the itinerary.

I find that boring as well.

I love that smell .. even though I know it’s not entirely healthy for us to breathe that in over long periods of time.

The pools I swim in now use salt water instead of chlorine. (They aren't salty like ocean water so you don't taste salt.)

I like the Noodle bar, I wish they'd keep it. Slice has the WORSE! pizza on any cruise ship I've ever been on, it's total garbage. The pizza on Holland America is a 100 times better.

  • 3 weeks later...

We were just on the Majestic in May and was disappointed.  We went because we loved the noodle bar and enjoyed Harmony's.  Very sad they are removing both.  We did go to The Catch by Rudi and it was so bad I did not eat the main course or the desert.  I also thought the menu was very limited for the cost.  We have had the pizza at Slice once and it was pretty awful.  We never eat there.  The pizza is so much better at Gigi's.

We went on the Majestic twice right after the Covid and loved the Majestic and the adult only pool.  However, going on the Majestic in May the adult pool is no more and was not heated.  The jacuzzi was lukewarm and not enjoyable. And it smelled!  This made me cancel another 14 day sailing we booked on the Majestic.  So sad.

Wow.  I hate to hear these negatives.

Catch usually gets great reviews!  Can you describe more about your experience there?

Not surprised with the Princess 'warm tubs'.

The thing with the adult only pool, is that it is NOT adult only.

I think that If the ship is full and there are any number of kids onboard, it is open to everyone.

(shrieking kids running and jumping into the water is not a good thing in an enclosed area!)

I am one who wishes they would change the front of the ship there in to a Sanctuary.

A ship without an adult only area available to all adults is really a non-starter.
