It looks like Princess don’t have their 3 day holds

Just checked out a couple of Princess cruises and it looks like you don’t get a chance to do a 3 day hold

 

is this something new or just a glitch

Need to ring them Bob, they can give you up to 10 days.

Hi Cheryle I was just having a look and someone else asked the question on FB , normally it was on the booking and saves you ringing up

Online, you have to book the cabin, and the 72hr hold is a period to finalise payment before it lapses. It has been that way for a while.

 

If booking with a good T/A or a PVP, you can get a longer hold, but even then, they have booked your cabin for you. As above, you aren't locked-in to having to pay a deposit and the "hold" lapses if you change your mind.

I just did a mock booking and it has changed since I last booked some time ago.

 

After I selected a room it then asked for transfers from airport.  Then it asked for travel insurance before going through to payment.

 

I could only select Use a FCD, Risk Free deposit of several hundred $ or pay in full.  Only 3 options and no 3 day grace.
