Another Drink Package Question

First time MSC coming up in the Fall.  I had previously read on CC that our Easy Plus package was only good on the drinks at $10 or below, and if we chose a  drink on the premium cocktails list ($14) then the full $14 was charged, not just the 4 dollar upcharge.   But this menu pic appears to say the opposite .... that we will save $10 on our $14 drinks.   Can someone confirm which is correct?

It used to be that you would be charged the full price for a drink that cost more than your drink package covered. Within the past year, MSC changed this. Now they only charge the difference between the drink cost and what your package includes.

On Euribia in April this year, they had reverted to charging the whole price. Not for the first time there was a gulf between ship-side and shore-side.

I would be upset about that since it is printed right there on the menu. The change has been fleet-wide since March 2023. There's really no excuse for any crew to not be aware of it.

They were aware of it and changed it in March 2023 - but they changed it back to charging the whole whack in March 2024. The bar and waiting staff were embarrassed but only following orders.

Except for bottles (wine bottles, champagne bottle), you will pay difference PLUS 15% of that difference

 

For a 14$ drink, you will pay 4,60$
